The Mini Championships is aimed at the more novice individuals…
The Mini Championships and NAF Regional Championships at Bicton Arena bring together Pony Club riders from across the South West for a brilliant end of summer celebration of grassroots sport. With dressage, The Mini Champs consists of Show Jumping, which combinations need to have qualified for and we also have dressage, which you can enter directly for (no qualification required but must be eligible.) it is a friendly but well run championship experience and a proper stepping stone towards bigger championships.
- Each team at the Championships must include two out of the original four horse/rider combinations.
- This is meant as a friendly, fairly low key championships, “a learning experience” so that competitors will feel confident at moving up to
Regionals. - Riders who have competed at the Regional Show Jumping or Eventing competition
are not eligible for the Mini Championships - Combinations may compete in Lead Rein & Assisted or Unassisted at Mini Championships.
- Combinations are not permitted to compete at 50cm or above at championships if the rider is competing in 40cm Lead rein or 40cm Assisted.
- If a combination is placed 1st-6th at mini championship’s 2026, They are unable to compete at the same level at mini champs 2027.
