Modern facilities in an extraordinary setting
Utilise the premier facilities at our prestigious venue within close proximity of junction 30 of the M5 and Daisy Mount junction of the A303.
We offer individual and group hire of our all-weather arenas with various options to jump a full set of BS standard show jumps, utilise a full dressage arena or make use of the arena cross-country courses. With the permanent stables and on-site hookups available for hire, it makes the venue perfect to host training clinics, competitions and camps.
Remember it’s not just an equestrian venue; Bicton Arena provides the perfect setting for a wide range of events from cross-country running, mountain biking, team building activities and even the odd wedding!
Western Counties Arena
60m x 60m un-waxed surface provided by Martin Collins, comprising of a blend of CLOPF Fibre and washed silica sand.

We are Open in half term with Show Jump Hire in the Western Counties Arena
Clinton Arena
90m x 50m Sports Premix surface comprising of a blend of synthetic fibre mixed with a high-grade wax-coated equestrian sand to guarantee consistency.
Bond Arena
R70m x 30m all-weather surface comprising of a blend of synthetic fibre, sand & rubber.
Stabling
120 permanent stables in 2 separate blocks with 4 rows of 1-30 making them ideally suited for residential camps as well as competition. Permanent stables are on concrete bases, with water points and muck heaps at either end of the blocks.
230 temporary stables situated in Southfield paddock. Securely enclosed, grass based, with convenient water points and muck heaps.
We can order in as many additional temporary stables as needed from Cheval Liberte.

We have opened up a few nights ahead of the BRC Arena Eventing & our Arena Eventing. please ensure you fill in our Emergency details as well as booking by clicking ‘BOOK’
Hook Up – for external camps & hire
We have 50 permanent electrical hook-up points which can be booked for single night stay-overs or for the duration of an event.
We hire in generators to supply additional electrical hook-up points for the larger competitions.
XC Course
The course meanders through the Grade One Listed Parkland in the heart of Devon. Its sandy loam old turf provides good going all year round over the mildly undulating terrain. We can offer courses from 70cm to 1.10m. The whole cross-country course is available on specified days only due to the Parkland needing to remain in top condition for our multiple Affiliated Events.
We hope to have a cross-country schooling course available for 2026.
